I've always wanted to needle-felt a murloc. They're one of my favorite World of Warcraft monsters. People think I'm crazy because of this, but I love their aggro sound which cracks me up every time I hear it.
I need to get some better pics and then send it in to the World of Warcraft fanart section.
Needle-felting involves poking wool with a sharp needle in order to mat the fibers together. It can be a tedious process- I think this murloc took 12-15 hours to do.

I'm currently making a Proto-Dragon statue (26" cubed in size) in popsicle stick-like wood, so I can level with you on how tedious this sort of thing is. XD
